Press Statement: Nasarawa State will immortalize Buhari - Gov Sule

               PRESS STATEMENT:

NASARAWA STATE WILL IMMORTALIZE PRESIDENT BUHARI UNDER THE STEWARDSHIP OF GOVERNOR ABULLAHI A.SULE:

Governor Abdullahi A. Sule has reiterated that the people of Nasarawa State will continue to give overwhelming support, commitment and total loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari in his quest to build an inclusive, secure and prosperous Nigeria.

His Excellency, Governor Sule gave this assurance when a high powered delegation of the highest echelon of political leaders, traditional rulers and stakeholders from Nasarawa State paid a special courtesy call on Mr. President at the Aso Villa in Abuja on Tuesday 25th June 2019.

Governor Abdullahi A. Sule affirmed that for the people of Nasarawa State, the name Muhammadu Buhari is associated with integrity, discipline and compassion for the common man. His Excellency, Engineer Sule therefore asserted that Nasarawa State will continue to be the political laboratory of President Muhammadu Buhari especially as it is the President who spurred the people of Nasarawa to elect the first and only CPC governor in Nigeria in 2011.

The Governor then affirmed that it is because of President Buhari’s integrity and his exemplary penchant for the pursuit of good for all citizens; as well as his compassion for those who are poor, voiceless and downtrodden that has inspired the current administration in Nasarawa State to embark on a massive plan to immortalize President Muhammadu Buhari in no distant future. 

Governor Abdullahi A. Sule thereafter extended the heartfelt gratitude of the entire people of Nasarawa State to President Muhammadu Buhari for the dualisation of Keffi-Akwanga Road, Stepping down of the 330 Power Line and concession of Farin Ruwa Hydropower project among many other landmark projects being undertaken by the Federal Government.

His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule also applauded the honor done to Nasarawa State by President Muhammadu Buhari in appointing two sons of the state; in person of Mohammed Abubakar Adamu as IGP of the Police and Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim as Director General of the National Youth Service corps NYSC.
